Centrals v Adelaide Olympic

The Gambier Centrals Soccer Club will play host to one of the giants of South Australian Football, Adelaide Olympic, in the Australia Cup preliminary round 3 fixture.

It has been billed as the David v Goliath match, as Adelaide Olympic are looking to make their way back into the National Premier League in 2026, after being demoted to State League One.

We can only hope that the journey from Adelaide results in a few of their stars being too jet lagged to perform on the day.

Regardless of the result, it will great for all football fans in the region to not only have Adelaide Olympic visiting our club, but Adelaide Croatia Raiders at Apollo, Adelaide Titans at Inter, Cove FC at Naracoorte and Croydon Cougars across the border in Portland, all here this long weekend.

We are asking for all of our supporters to come out to MGA Park to try and help us produce a once in a lifetime Cupset. It is rumoured that Olympic will be bringing a large contingent to spur on their boys.

Entry at the gate;

- $5 Concession
- Under 17 Free

The mini bar will be open and the BBQ will be fired up in the Dycer Stand. There is strictly a NO BYO alcohol policy.

After match meals are available in the club house with orders to be submitted by 1:00pm Thursday 6th March via our online form only.
