Miniroos Round 1 Cancelled

Football South Australia and the Limestone Coast Football Association have advised that the opening round of the Miniroos season has been cancelled for Friday 24th February, due to the extreme heat.

Football South Australia's extreme weather policy advises that for players aged 6 to 11 years, matches are to be cancelled when the temperature is 32 degrees and above.

The Bureau of Meterology has advised that as of Wednesday 1:00pm, the forecasted temperature will be 39 degrees.

Where possible, the Round 1 fixtures will be rescheduled to after Round 10.
