Lions At Multicultural Event

The Gambier Centrals Soccer Club was well represented at the annual Naracoorte Multicultural Carnival held on Saturday 5th November, with teams entered in the Men, Women's and Junior Boys divisions.

The carnival uses sport to celebrate a diverse and harmonious Australia by bringing together people from different cultural backgrounds from the Limestone Coast and further afield and communicates the message of shared values – respect, equality and freedom.

Even though the men's team bowed out at the group stage, the junior boys and our women, playing under the apt name of Victorious Secret, took home the winners medals.

Our participating players included: Olivia Gwilym, Rayian Smith, Dakota Trotter, Rachel Muzaliwa, Janae Bawden, Drew Neavin, Katie Armstrong, Bronwen Mitchell, Josh Taylor, Nick Quirk, Paul Belino, Anthony Ellis, Mitchell Manser, Tom van Riet, Tom Navickas, Kynan Sheedy, Josh Kumbhare, Patrick Muzaliwa, Noah Corfield, Elijah Loef, Nathan Chatindiara, Will Harrison

The Gambier Centrals Soccer Club would like to congratulate our friends from the Naracoorte United Soccer Club on another successfully run event.

Please find some videos and images from the day.
