MiniRoos is designed for kids of all abilities, aged 4 – 9 years. The nation-wide initiative uses short, game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Westfield Matildas.
The Limestone Coast Football Association is offering the following age groupings for our Miniroos aged players.
Your childs age at the 1st of January will determine which age group they will be eligible to play in. For example, if your child is 7 on the 1st of January and they turn 8 on the 1st of February, they are still eligible to play Under 8 Miniroos.
Our Miniroos co-ordinator for season 2023 is Lauren Cutting. Lauren is a mum of two energetic young Miniroo lions who will be playing in our Under 10's team. The club wishes to thank Lauren for volunteering to take on the role.
