MiniRoos is designed for kids of all abilities, aged 4 – 11 years. The nation-wide initiative uses short, game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Westfield Matildas.
The Limestone Coast Football Association is offering the following age groupings for our Miniroos aged players.
The Limestone Coast Football Association is offering Under 12's the opportunity to play in the newly formed Under 12 Development (10 to 11 year olds) who will play on Sunday mornings with the Under 12 age group.
Your childs age at the 1st of January will determine which age group they will be eligible to play in. For example, if your child is 7 on the 1st of January and they turn 8 on the 1st of February, they are still eligible to play Under 8 Miniroos.
We are still seeking a co-ordinator for our 2025 Miniroos Program. The MiniRoos Co-ordinator is responsible for the organisation and management of MiniRoos training and game day experiences, to ensure all participants have fun, make new friends and develop new skills in an inclusive environment. The Co-ordinator acts as the main Point of Contact for all parents and Game Leaders for MiniRoos players and liaises with the main committee. View more information here.
